Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) leverages Amazon's global fulfillment and customer service network for third party sellers who want to grow their business on and off Amazon.com. FBA enables customers to take advantage of Free Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime on third party items, while sellers can focus on selling rather than shipping.

We are looking for talented Quality Assurance Engineers (QAE) who are enthusiastic about QA strategy and execution, cutting-edge technologies, and working in a fast paced dynamic environment. Our engineers use black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques; they understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated test scripts with Perl/JavaScript/Python and user-level test automation tools. As a QA Engineer on our team, you will work side by side with Software Development Engineers, and Product Managers to develop and ship new features. You will also work with our User Experience and Customer Support teams to understand customer usage models to develop your test plans and test suites that exercise real-world scenarios.

Basic Qualifications
BS degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience.
5+ years of QA experience
Experience with QA processes and testing large, complex software systems
Deep understanding of test planning and testing methodologies
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience with automated testing methodologies and writing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium or equivalent
Experience delivering high quality consumer facing applications and user interfaces
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and understanding of professional software engineering models (Agile) and best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management (Git), build processes, testing and ongoing maintenance
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Be an independent thinker, fully capable of making your own assessments of problem areas and finding effective solutions
Excellent Linux knowledge, including tools and scripting
Understanding of technical specifications and ability to analyze log files to track down and isolate issues
Self-driven to improve test coverage and effectiveness
Ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical information to a testing situation
Takes full ownership of end-user quality and usability
