Responsibilities

Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations. During your internship assignment, you will be given the opportunity to support projects to address some of the most significant project challenges faced federal clients. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the area of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.

Qualifications

Our internship is a 9-10 week program, running from the beginning of June to the beginning of August. Through the internship program, you will have the opportunity to work within one of our seven sectors:

National Security
Advance Technology Solutions
Defense
Financial Services
Health and Benefits
Science and Infrastructure
State and Local Government
Operations

Throughout the internship, you will have the chance to work with our internal teams on the assigned project/contract, meet with upper management to reflect on your personal and professional development, and socialize with your fellow interns during outings/activities.

This internship is for our National Security Sector. Located in our Washington, DC Office.

Internship Overview:
As an intern, you will be responsible for the following:
Supporting team performing assessments of IT controls using industry-standard guidance and leading practices
Supporting team performing walkthrough interviews and maintaining communication with a variety of client stakeholders, including system personnel such as system and database administrators
Supporting the evaluation of the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls using provided artifacts, industry-standard guidance, leading practices, and professional judgement
Supporting the summarization and communication of IT controls assessment results to a variety of client stakeholders, including senior leadership personnel
Planning and executing day-to-day activities of IT controls assessments individually

During this internship, you will be working with client personnel to understand and analyze known IT control weaknesses, identify root causes, and develop detailed, robust remediation plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have completed 60 credits or above, OR in a Graduate level program prior to the start date of internship
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above
Must be enrolled in a FULL TIME accredited Undergrad University or at minimum in a part time Graduate program
Must have a declared major
