Onboarding Training Program Manager
Partner closely with Engineering Managers and SME’s to effectively assess and evaluate learning needs through targeted consulting and using training needs analysis.
Effectively own the development and execution of new Engineering/PM onboarding learning solutions in conjunction with the global enablement team to support New Hires
Instructional design of fun, learner-centric training solutions for the engineering/PM community that are flexible, adaptable, and can scale globally.
Regular hosting and engaging presentation of the US Engineering/PM welcome program and Technical Bootcamp.
Provide technical expertise input and work effectively with SMEs to assist the team in customizing training content for Engineering courses and workshops.
Build and develop relationships with all partners, communicating updates and program information on a regular basis and craft the most effective training strategy and interventions to support Engineering/PM training needs.
Maintain close relationships with PM, Engineering, and Marketing to know the latest product releases and messaging and verify all training content is updated accordingly.
Establish and track metrics to analyze effectiveness of Engineering Enablement initiatives to creatively influence participation and improve the quality of the program.
Collaborate effectively with other supporting organizations such as Recruiting, Facilities and IT to ensure all training provides a professional and precise user experience for the audience.
Timely LMS administration and coordination of training to ensure accurate and quality reporting and evaluation.
3-5+ years of engineering education or training/enablement experience
Experience working with technical teams with the ability to understand technical content
Understanding of Software Engineering Development Process
An engaging facilitator with strong presentation skills.
Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build key relationships with Technical Staff across all levels
Experienced in program management and design
Training Event Management and coordination experience
Ability to travel on occasion
Strong initiative: Ability to get things done in a rapidly evolving Silicon Valley company
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is ideal. Will also consider candidates with degrees in Higher or Adult Education and applicable experience.
