Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company has an opening for a Website Marketing Manager to work out of our West Creek Home Office in Richmond, VA. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our website and online account servicing platforms, overseeing our content management system (CMS), and providing technical and strategic support for our digital marketing and customer email efforts.

Primary Duties

Develop new features and functionality for our website and digital properties
Oversee our content management system, working with the Marketing and Communications teams to deliver content that drives engagement and sales
Work with our creative resources and internal development team to develop web experiences that align with our marketing goals
Manage our email campaigns and customer database, with responsibility for data management, audience selection, campaign set-up and tracking/reporting
Analyze and report out on our digital marketing campaigns and website performance

Understanding of user experience and user Interface design best practices
Understanding of lead generation marketing and conversion
Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS & JavaScript
Familiarity with responsive design principles and implementation of responsive frameworks and coding best practices for building mobile-friendly websites
Ability to work within a team including other developers, graphic designers and copywriters
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact
Experience with CRM applications and/or data management
Understanding of digital tracking and reporting tools such as Google Analytics
Excellent oral and written communication skills
1-3 years experience with consumer facing marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Web Development
