The VP Workforce Management provides strategic direction and tactical leadership for all functional areas within Workforce Management to initiate, implement, and effectively manage advanced workforce planning and optimization practices for the organization. This role will optimize resource performance across multiple operations and business units utilizing automated workforce tools ensuring organizational performance requirements and client specific service commitments are met. This position has primary leadership responsibility for the design, development, implementation, and execution of systems, programs, and processes driving and supporting the Company’s overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
Represent the Workforce Management function on leadership team; accountable for the effective management of the operations, development, and monitoring of key performance indicators, training, quality and appropriate budget and resource allocation in order to service our customers
Identify and monitor key performance indicators in order to measure operational performance; oversee all efforts to improve performance
Builds collaborative relationships with the senior leaders across the regulated market business lines to understand the current business needs and long term strategy; leads the design and implementation of Workforce Management in alignment with short and long term business goals
Collaborate with the executive team to understand AllianceRx Walgreens Prime’s (ARxWP) overall business strategy and growth objectives in order to align the Workforce management vision and strategy to support ARxWP’s overall goals
Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of departmental budget
Responsible for leading a team through teaching, coaching and inspiring by fostering a sense of energy, ownership and a responsibility for the flawless execution of operational excellence; engage in the selection and hiring process as needed

Required qualifications, skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related area of study; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
10 years’ work experience in workforce management, operations, and/or analytics, with a minimum of 5 years of senior/executive workforce management leadership and analytical modeling experience within high volume service-focused operations
7 years’ of leadership / people management experience

Additional Qualifications
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of products
Deep knowledge and understanding of health plan benefits and related healthcare landscape
Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals
Demonstrated success leading a team in a cross-functional, matrix environment
Ability to focus on key success criteria and frame results related to business objectives
Exceptional critical thinking skills including demonstrated ability to understand high-level project needs, then take a logical approach to planning projects, organizing work and communicating findings
Willing to travel up to 25% of time for business purposes

Desired qualifications, skills and experience

Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration
Work experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management and/or Specialty Pharmacy
