Your day to day
Answer helpdesk telephone calls in line with SLAs and reply to email queries in line with SLAs

Record call/email activity in IHG ticketing system

Resolve issues relating to calls / emails or escalate queries to correct resolver group(s) as necessary

Update ticketing system as appropriate

Provide suggestions and input as to how services could be improved or delivered more effectively

Assistance with service reporting as appropriate

Cross service clients and/or suppliers between helpdesk activities as required

Provide support to projects generally across the whole Procurement Sourcing & Operations team

Ensure all reporting tools are updated in line with specified timelines

Competent Helpdesk execution

Ability to prioritise work requests

What we need from you

Associate degree or equivalent experience


Some experience in or understanding of a Helpdesk role in a large blue chip environment

Ability to clearly explain things to user and empathize with them

Technical Skills and Knowledge

Good Microsoft office skills

Good communication skills

Demonstrated attitude to learning and development personal and professional skills

Individual Capabilities

Experience in handling queries

Problem solving skills

Organisational skills
