SUMMARY
Cooks are responsible for daily execution of prep and service in the back of the house under the guidance of the Corporate Chef, Executive Chef, and Sous Chefs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
I. Food Service/ Shift Responsibilities
Participate in and oversee daily prep and service for all outlets
Participate in daily line checks to insure quality and consistency
Assist in making sure banquets are prepped and executed to the Chefs standards
Maintaining the cleanliness and organizations of all walk-ins and all storage areas
Maintain company standards of quality and cleanliness
Follow all health and safety regulations
Participate in daily sanitation walk throughs to insure compliance
Responsible to comply with all managers and direct supervisor requests
II. Training
Participate in educating front of house staff on any daily specials
III. Technical Knowledge
Cooks must possess a working knowledge of the systems used within our company. In particular the Cooks must be proficient in the following:
Opening and closing procedures
Food knowledge
Health and Sanitation Standards
Proper cooking techniques and knife skills
