Hanna Sacks, a private all-girls high school on the far north side, is seeking candidates to fill an open English Language Arts position. The position is part time, around 20 hours per week and includes 1 section of the following courses: 9th grade ELA, 10th grade American Literature, 11th grade British Literature and 12th grade World Literature. English classes mostly meet in the afternoon, between 1:15/2 and 5 pm.
Hanna Sack’s secular studies teachers come from all backgrounds, and are not expected to have familiarity or experience with Judaism.
The ideal candidate has the following credentials and experience:
- Teaching experience
- Master's degree in English
