DRS Airbone Intelligence Systems, Advanced Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (AISR) Dayton, OH, provides engineering, manufacturing, and support of defense and aerospace systems for sea, land, air, and space use. Title: Field Service Engineer II
Supports moderately complex Field Service activities in operating environments at depots, training sites, and customer field operations with training, operation or repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports moderatley complex Field Service activities in operating environments at depots, training sites, and customer field operations with training, operation or repair
Provides technical skills in area of proficiency and demonstrates ability to troubleshoot technical issues at all types of military and commercial field assignments
Determines solutions in resolving a wide variety of technical problems
Interfaces directly with customer personnel to address technical support issues
Works at remote locations under general supervision of others
Provides regular reporting of progress and status
Provides budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
Communicates clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
Participates in preparation of less complex proposals
May provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel
Attends appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings
Other Duties as Assigned
Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Avionics and/or Electronic Warfare experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance of Secret or higher
Must meet the minimal standards of fitness for deployment to the CENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR)
