The Pfizer Digital Client Partner team is looking for customer focused, energetic, strategic, and innovative person to be the primary business partner for the Human Resource (HR) function comprised of HR Centers of Excellence and Client Facing teams. As the primary point of contact, the leader will be expected to advise on all aspects of digital and technology topics and trends, opportunities and internal Pfizer Digital capabilities while also participating and leading BOLD move initiatives within the HR function. The opportunity to leverage digital to create delightful and compelling experiences in support of Bold Move #1 – Unleash the Power of the People is a key expectation and an exciting highlight of the role. This role provides business partnership and Pfizer Digital strategic ownership for the Chief Human Resources Officer (Executive Vice President), the HRLT members (4 Senior Vice Presidents and 3 Vice Presidents), and their Leadership teams comprised of Vice Presidents and Senior Directors designing and delivering human focused HR solutions and services to all Pfizer colleagues worldwide.

As the Business Partner to Human Resources (HR), the incumbent will:

Drive HR Digital and Transformation initiatives in partnership with the business
Lead Pfizer Digital strategy and cost/benefit business case(s) creation, with business sponsors and input from appropriate Pfizer Digital groups, to meet division/function needs and Bold Move priorities.
Partner with the division/function stakeholders and appropriate Pfizer Digital groups to manage successful execution of the strategy including solution delivery, business adoption and business case achievement
Be a proactive thought leader partnering with divisions/functions to drive innovative use of technology, data, and/or digital (existing, new) to create value and superior experiences for Pfizer managers and colleagues and HR team members.
Translate division/function needs into business requirements.
Lead governance to prioritize and manage all Pfizer Digital demand for each division/function. Clearly communicate prioritized demand and div/function needs/requirements to all appropriate Pfizer Digital groups on an ongoing basis.
Prepare and manage annual Pfizer Digital budget for each div/function with input from appropriate Pfizer Digital groups.
Work with appropriate Pfizer Digital groups to leverage and scale products and solutions across customers and geographies as appropriate.
The leader will need to have strong partnership and collaboration skills as they will be working closely with multiple Pfizer Digital groups to understand how best to use our global solutions to meet the Bold Moves defined by HR. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to clearly articulate the priorities of HR to the other Pfizer Digital groups.

For the business partnership component of the role, the leader will be an active member of various HR leadership teams partnering both on Pfizer Digital initiatives and other BOLD moves where they can add value. They will use a thorough understanding of project/program processes and strategies to identify projects, quantify benefits and prioritize initiatives that contribute to the objectives of HR function.


As the Business Partner for HR, the individual will define and drive the Pfizer Digital strategy for the organization. They will interact with both the leadership teams, the leaders of other areas supporting the organization, and the various Pfizer Digital teams managing the solutions. Leads and supports business case development and Pfizer Digital strategy to ensure consistent and value add partnership with business and Pfizer Digital stakeholders.

Leads teams that implement strategic direction for HR Centers of Excellence and Client Facing teams and may impact multiple Global Business Unit/Global Operating Unit or Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit
Influences senior management decisions that have an impact on business direction within HR Centers of Excellence and Client Facing teams

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or Master’s in Business Administration
Specific subject matter expertise (SME) in HR disciplines and processes (i.e. Talent, Learning, Total Rewards, Payroll, Operations, M&A, etc.) that support the Pfizer enterprise.
10 plus years of experience managing complex programs, while managing senior customer relationships and delivery of a great user experience

Previous experience should include implementation of enterprise-based systems, covering the full system life cycle
5 + years technical experience in HR application delivery and support
SDLC, Financial management, project management

Domestic and International travel 20-50%; frequent travel to NYHQ
Weekend and after hours work as needed in support of program deliverables

The role is an office-based role and requires the individual to perform mathematical calculations and the ability to perform complex data analysis
