The Village Vets 24 Hour Emergency is a privately owned small animal emergency practice looking to grow our team of veterinarians for all shifts (day, swing, and overnight). We are located in downtown Decatur, Georgia (“In the Perimeter” of Atlanta) where you can enjoy fantastic restaurants and nightlife, beautiful and historic walkable neighborhoods, and an award winning school system!
Our team strives for excellence in everything we do and values compassion, teamwork, and integrity when it comes to working with our clientele and with one another. Our ideal candidate has experience in emergency medicine and/or has completed an internship. However, we will consider new graduates or those without prior emergency experience with structured training/mentorship. We offer flexible scheduling and three 12 hour shifts per week is considered full-time for DVMs. Part-time positions will also be considered.

Our vets see a wide variety of both medical and surgical cases, but if you are not as comfortable with surgery we will train you. We have a Covidien ligasure which provides peace of mind and makes surgery fun! We also offer diagnostic abdominal ultrasound services (day and night) and radiology review, all by a boarded radiologist who works with our hospital on a consultation basis.
