A Digital Analyst/Senior Digital Analyst at LiveArea will support our growing digital analytics consulting practice. Our success is measured by how well our clients succeed, and this role will play a key part in identifying opportunities for their business growth. These consulting services include reporting, insights, recommendations, and verifying data integrity to make data understandable and actionable to the end user. The Digital Analyst/Senior Digital Analyst maintains relationships with numerous clients and is a key representative of the agency's digital analytics practice.
Our clients use a variety of web site data collection tools so while we don't expect candidates to be well versed in all of them, a solid understanding of one tool, either Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or IBM Analytics is required. Experience boiling down large amounts of data into a few key directives for a business team is a must.
Ability to create standardized reports & dashboards
Present analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders both client-side and internally
Ensures that not only are client needs met, but follows through with additional recommendations which client might not be aware of by acting on behalf of the client and looking for tracking opportunities that will provide additional insights and actions for improvement
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with other LiveArea agency practice owners to help facilitate success of cross-functional initiatives
Senior Analyst Responsibilities:
Includes the aforementioned Analyst Responsibilities plus the following:
Identifies opportunities to sell additional analytics strategy services to new and existing clients
Identify key trends and opportunities for analytics practice to grow, through knowledge of emerging technology, new strategies for customer insights, etc.
Defines technical requirements for improving a client's ability to capture more insight on the customer journey
Can do tag validation and create tags in a tag manager with moderate oversight, assisting senior team members with the QA process.
1 - 2 years of direct experience in a digital analytics role using the Adobe Analytics (Omniture) platform
Experience in e-commerce required; consulting and/or digital marketing a plus
Advanced knowledge and experience with analytics methods and practices, and how to use data to drive business growth.
Strong communication and presentation skills required as this is a client-facing role
Must have the ability to explain analysis clearly and succinctly
Must be highly proficient with Excel
Senior Analyst Requirements:
Includes the aforementioned Analyst Requirements plus the following:
2 - 4 years direct experience in a digital analytics role
Knowledge of tag management tools such as Adobe Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager and/or Tealium. Able to add and modify tags within tag managers with supervision
Able to validate technical implementation of analytics tags using standard tag debugging tools
Experience with A/B testing, data visualization tools such as Tableau, and in-page analytics tools a plus
