The Warehouse Administrator works closely with the Warehouse Manager to assist with the daily operations of the warehouse.
Processes Material Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
Assists with management of inventory.
Enters timecards into Dynamics for Warehouse, Mechanic Shop and Sheet Metal workers.
Knows processes in Dynamics to locate material, POs, tools, and equipment.
Sends daily reports to managers.
Receives deliveries (UPS, FedEx, and Freight) and ensures that they are accounted for. Coordinates with PMs if deliveries are to be sent to the job site or staged in the warehouse.
Picks up/delivers items for jobs if called upon.
Keeps vehicle registrations up to date.
Manages the EZ Pass account.
Assists with the company’s GPS system.
Updates the Rock Log daily.
Enters material charge-outs and purchases material for the Sheet Metal Shop.
Promotes excellent communication between all departments.
Adheres to all Tomko policies and procedures.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with the tasks outlined above.
Experience with computer programs, especially Microsoft Excel, required.
Sufficient knowledge of mathematics including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute and interpret charts and graphs.
Ability to schedule and prioritize all work assignments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse individuals.
Ability to enforce and abide by all Tomko rules and procedures.
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
This position works in a typical shop environment. Pleasant and safe working atmosphere and conditions, which at times may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Light physical effort, requires handling of average-weight objects up to 35 pounds and some standing and walking.
Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, with prior overtime authorization by management.
