ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A Landscape Technician provides basic landscaping upkeep for apartment communities, rental homes, and mobile home parks. Must have a valid GA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Maintenance Duties- these duties include but are not limited to:
Mowing: Mow lawns using power mowers.
Edging and blowing: Edge driveways, flower beds, sidewalks, and any overgrowth on building exteriors. Blow debris, including leaves, straw, grass, and trash from paved areas.
Trimming and pruning: Trim bushes, trees, flowers, and hedges using hand trimmers, power trimmers, and chainsaws.
Planting: Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and lay sod. Finishing beds with straw, mulch, rocks, or other forms of decorative filler.
Jobs requiring other duties may be presented. As a 1099 contractor all work is voluntary and performed at the discretion of the contractor
Basic landscaping knowledge: Mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing, trimming, and pine straw/mulch dispersal. Planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and laying sod. Prior landscaping/grounds keeping experience is preferred. Must have basic knowledge of both manual and power lawn care tools including mowers, edgers, blowers, weed eaters, chain saws, trimmers, shovels, shears, rakes, and axes. Must have a valid GA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
The Landscape Technician position is a 1099 independent contractor. All work is voluntary and performed at the discretion of the individual contractor. Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience. Available work may vary based on seasonal workload and experience level.
