A leading game development company is hiring a network security architect to lead future Network Security Technology direction and will be the leading network security technologies and solutions.
As a key member of the GDIS Infrastructure Architecture team you’ll work with a great team of Technical Infrastructure Architect’s and Engineering thought leaders in Enterprise Data Center design, Application Security, Wide Area Network connectivity, Campus Design, Wireless and Network / Client Security Solutions which support our business. You’ll provide network security strategy, direction and innovation for one of the greatest entertainment companies

Job Duties:
Providing network security architecture and design services that define Network Security Standards for company’s Enterprise and Game Development
Focus on Secure network architectures and supporting technology solutions within the enterprise
Continually conduct maturity assessments and technology gap analysis of company’s network security
Development of technical security architectures and standards focusing on network security related technology and controls
Serves as a subject matter expert through Analysis and Definition project phases of IT projects
Participate in evaluations and recommend solutions to support enterprises security controls including: networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS, data loss prevention, application security, and overall data security.
Partner closely with our Security and Risk Management team on the strategic direction for network security and shaping what effective looks like
Contributing and supporting the technical security strategies for enterprise network security and Game Development
Design and develop technical requirements, security solutions, and implementation planning for network security architecture
Lead implementation programs for improved network security, including segmentation, perimeter and in-depth monitoring, and active response
Define network security technology strategies, best practices, guidelines and standards based on emerging technologies and company’s IT’s strategic direction
Lead an Enterprise Network Security Council to develop a unified approach, vision, strategy and roadmap for Network Security Services at company
Partner with company’s IT Service lines to support Service Delivery through technical infrastructure architectural and engineering consulting; support IT Service Delivery teams who drive solution delivery with architectural guidance
Reviews the design and implementation of network security service components and map them to the long term vision
Lead Vendor solution evaluation, RFI/RFP definition, lab POC of new technologies, and decision support
Effectively advocating for the necessary business investments to support network security advancements and CSI

Job Requirements:
10 years Network Security professional experience
Network security concepts, architecture precepts, and design principles
Technical understanding and experience with network security technologies including IDS/IPS, and firewalls
Deep understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack, application protocols such as SNMP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP; IPSec and SSL VPNs; SSL/TLS protocol knowledge
Experience in security controls for WAN, LAN, and WLAN architectures
Experience with authentication protocols for network resources including 802.1x, SSH, TACACS+, LDAP as well as network access control (NAC) solutions
Connectivity models and network security controls used for cloud connectivity between enterprise and cloud solution providers
Policy development pertaining to network security architecture and design
Proven ability to deliver architectures that incorporate high availability, operations supportability and scalability through automation and programing – Technology life cycle perspective
Ability to design end-to-end network security solutions across large enterprise IT ecosystems

Preferred Qualifications:
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred
CCIE Security and CISSP
ITIL v3 Foundation
Understanding of SDLC and Agile modeling design and tools
Knowledge of current technological trends and developments
