Axioma is seeking a talented and energetic quantitative professional to lead the US Client Services & Implementations team in an exciting and multi-faceted role as Director, Client Services. This position reports to the Global Head of Risk Solutions, and is based in our New York office.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of quantitative specialists to provide consultative support to clients, who include Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and other financial institutions, to help them extract maximum value from Axioma products:
    • Educate clients on new product features
    • Provide subject-matter expertise on risk models and optimization
    • Identify new opportunities for Axioma to bring value to existing clients
    • Deliver upsell pitches to existing clients
    • Seek ways of adding scale to the client onboarding and support processes
    • Reinforce a collaborative culture within the team., that partners constructively with various stakeholders within the organization
  • Join Sales team members in meetings with prospective clients to discuss the benefits that clients can achieve due to the unique and innovative features of Axioma products
  • Provide feedback to the Product Management team in ongoing efforts to improve and expand Axioma’s product capabilities
  • Collaborate with Research and Applied Research on explorations of new ideas and approaches
  • Represent Axioma in educational sessions such as webinars and by participating and presenting in industry events

Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, finance, econometrics, or operations research. Masters or PhD is preferred
  • Strong Data Manipulation skills (programming experience is a plus, especially in Java, C++, Matlab, R)
  • Familiarity with capital markets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong risk experience
  • Management experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Educational background in quantitative finance
  • 10+ years relevant work experience including 2-3+ year management and 1-3 years in quantitative finance
