Edgewater is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to support our federal customer in the Washington DC area.
Manage a small team of security engineers;
Work with federal leadership to identify and document project backlog;
Manage and communicate a clear list of priorities at all times;
Develop and maintain project documentation such as requirements, progress updates, goals, internal/external communication, and technical documentation;
Define the scope of new projects;
Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders;
Coordinate to ensure deliverables meet requirements;
Identify opportunities for process improvements;
Manage multiple internal and external relationships in a way that reflects strong personal and corporate values;
Provide subject matter expertise on cyber security.
Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information technology or related field;
5 years of IT team leadership;
10 years of experience supporting IT with 5+ years in cybersecurity;
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification or education;
Experience in Linux environment preferred;
Experience implementing and managing Splunk preferred;
Security certification preferred (CISSP, Security+, CAP, CEH)
Understanding of networking preferred.
