The Gryphon, on Savannah’s enchanting Madison Square offers an alluring café menu featuring fresh seasonal offerings of local fare. This is your opportunity to join the restaurant’s talented staff.

Hours:
Friday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Must be able to attend mandatory training
Team oriented, articulate, professional, dependable, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic required.

Responsibilities:

Duties may vary and other duties may be assigned.
Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service clearly and effectively.
Write orders on checks or memorize orders.
Relay orders to kitchen clearly and effectively and serve courses and beverages from kitchen and service bars.
Garnish, prep, and decorate dishes prior to serving.
Observe patrons to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meals and beverages have been finished.
Total bills and accept payments or refer patrons to cashier.
Check identification of customers as required and ensure customers meet age requirements based on orders.
Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee, and perform services as determined by establishment’s size and practices.
Clear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
