The Position
The General Manager of the Sales Center of our Parts.com in Lewistown, PA will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies for the center. Incumbent will direct business processes to ensure effective sales, inventory and financial metrics management. In addition, he/she will establish and maintain relationships with key residential customers within his/her respective markets.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall P&L Leadership for assigned location to achieve annual financial targets.
- Direct business processes to ensure effective sales, operational, inventory, customer service, procurement, and financial management.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships resulting in significant market penetration.
- Identify, monitor, and manage customer service performance to achieve high degree of customer satisfaction and resulting in significant market share growth and retention.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external vendors.
- Develop and implement sales growth strategies, in collaboration with sales teams, to achieve long term growth targets.
- Lead, develop, and manage direct Team Members through regular One-on-Ones, Feedback, Coaching and Delegation.
- Establish and maintain appropriate inventory stocking levels to effectively meet customer demands and achieve key performance metrics.
- Closely manage all controllable expenses to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
- Demonstrate and ensure utilization of safe work practices.
- Perform all duties, functions, procedures necessary to ensure the financial and operational success of the facility.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ Years experience in management or supervisory role in B2B Product Sales, Distribution, or Operations – garage door or construction industry preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to establish and manage multiple priorities
- Self-aware and effective leadership style
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations, or Supply Chain Management preferred
