What you’ll be doing...
You will explore what our people need to learn to be even better. Your programs and learning approaches will align with our business needs and be highly effective and in tune with our culture. You’ll design learning solutions that are engaging, fun, and most importantly build those capabilities needed to enable our people to create the Verizon of the future.
Responsibilities associated with the position include:
Creating innovative learning solutions for sales, products, customer service, and employee development.
Resourcing learning initiatives with internal and external training experts.
Managing vendor and contractor relationships.
Evaluating program effectiveness and continuously improving our solutions.
Managing the archive of learning programs and materials.
Identifying and writing/filming compelling stories about Verizon Consumer Group products and services to help educate and inspire employees to serve our customers.
Translating complex company initiatives into digestible, short content that ties back to the larger Verizon strategy and initiatives.
Developing, managing, and executing learning solutions that inform our employees in the growth and deployment of emerging technologies, ecosystem development and strategic partnerships.
Writing product and employee-facing news articles and performance support content.
Interacting and working collaboratively with cross-functional employee communications/PR/marketing groups, sales and service operations teams.
** This position can be located in any vaild Verizon U.S- based Corporate office**

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.
Four or more years of relevant experience.
Experience managing projects.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
The flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
Even better if you have:
Experience consulting with HR professionals and their business clients.
Experience managing projects effectively balancing timeliness and quality.
Experience using media as a messaging platform, including ideation, scripting and storyboarding, production, and post-production advising
Ability to understand why technology matters for customers and tell that story.
Ability to plan and execute complex projects both autonomously and collaboratively.
Experience providing creative solutions to complex problems or issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities.
Ability to work quickly and effectively while maintaining great flexibility and accuracy.
Adept with generating creative concepts, overseeing production, and editing.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and training approaches.
Knowledge in design and delivery of employee training.
