Waters Corporation is seeking a positive minded, reliable, hard-working, self-motivated candidate to join our organization as a Material Receiving Clerk. The Material Receiving Clerk will be responsible for proper receipts of goods into the receiving area. This position is responsible for rectifying any inventory discrepancies with the buyers as well as performing investigations to solve any purchase order or receipt issues that may have occurred. The Material Receiving Clerk will oversee movement of material in and out of our Stockroom in support of Assembly Operations and Machining Operations. This includes timely and accurate receipt, movement, storage and control of materials to enable the success of our internal and external customers. The Material Receiving Clerk will also be required to fill in for the area lead as needed.
- Receive all material from outside courier into the building.
Count and verify product part and quantity to packing list and PO within SAP system.
Embrace and develop a culture based around positivity, team building, and safety.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with buyers and other stakeholders to rectify any discrepancies in a quick and timely manner.
Investigate and resolve past inaccuracies with receipts and work with supervisor and Inventory Control Specialist to rectify any issues.
Pick material per Factory Orders and ensure timely delivery of material to internal customer as required.
Assist with packaging of finished goods as required.
Participate in ongoing inventory control activities including cycle counting and reconcile inventory discrepancies when required.
Embrace a continuous improvement mindset with the aim to eliminate waste and improve efficiencies.
Assist in reviewing and updating documentation for related processes.
Individual lift up to 50lbs
Team lift up/assisted lift up to 100lbs.
Other tasks as assigned
High School diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is required.
Ability to perform a variety of material handling functions relating to the receipt, movement and storage of a broad range of materials.
Ability to read and comply with documentation and procedures necessary to perform transactions and control of materials. Ability to utilize computers, barcode scanners, scales, manual pallet jacks and material handling equipment.
Ability to obtain a power industrial license. (Fork truck / stock picker)
Strong communication skills, written and verbal; Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work non-standard/additional hours, when necessary, based on production demands.
