Job Purpose/Scope:
The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of projects and initiatives that generate demand, retain customers, grow existing customer revenue, and build the Huf brand. This position executes projects for both global markets and the North American markets, and works closely with the Vice President – Global Sales, Marketing and Product Management Teams in North America.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for all marketing and social media activities related to TPMS sales in North America

Specific responsibilities include; global marketing communication, sales and marketing collateral development, email marketing management, online seminars and trade show coordination, regional advertising and promotions, and new product launches
Execution of marketing communication programs in North America, including sales collaterals development, website content, product launch communications and segment focused activities.
Proven track record of establishing goals and objectives, handling multiple priorities and completing tasks on time.
Ability to demonstrate high-level of initiative and the ability to follow through on projects.
Ability to work on computer for long-periods and communicate with individuals by phone, email, Skype and face-to-face.
Ability to take assignments and direction from a variety of staff.

Supervision Received and Given:
Reports to Vice President – Global Sales for Independent Aftermarket Tire Monitoring & Aftersales Solutions

Educational Requirements:
Associate’s degree or higher level in Marketing, Communications or related field

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
Strong marketing and social media background.
Experience with multiple social media platforms including Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Facebook...
Graphics Design, photography and or video experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
Co-op or internship experience in automotive marketing and or sales.

Additional Information:
The position could be filled part time initially (early 2019), but full time from summer 2019 onwards.

Position will be located in our Farmington Hills Product Development Center.

Must be willing to appear in promotional and training videos

Specialized Working Conditions and % Travel: (i.e.: hearing, vision, extreme temperatures)

Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Occasional travel is required to support customer events and trade shows out of state.
