Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects for combustion equipment in a manufacturing facility. This role involves developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production workflows, improving product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Project Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. This position reports to Encore’s Director of Engineering.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and monitor manufacturing projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and technical requirements.
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Select components, liaise with vendors, prepare datasheets.
- Collaborate with designers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of new products, equipment, or processes into existing operations.
- Analyze data and process performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering documents, drawings, reports, and specifications related to manufacturing processes and project development.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage budgets, track project costs, and provide regular updates to management on project progress.
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with equipment suppliers, contractors, and external partners.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Keep safety as the priority when performing all duties
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience with combustion technologies preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
