Seeking Associate Attorney for Civil Litigation Firm in Jersey City
Practice Handling Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Personal Injury (Plaintiff and Defense) and More.
Candidates should have one to three years (1-3) years of work experience as an associate attorney, judicial clerk or law clerk. Must be admitted to practice law or seeking admission to practice in New Jersey. New York bar admission is a plus.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Drafting, Preparing, & Formatting Motions, Pleadings, Discovery Demands and Responses.
- Legal Research and Writing.
- Communicating with Clients, Court Staff, Expert Witnesses, and Opposing Counsel.
- Reviewing Medical records, Bank Statements, Expert Reports, Case Evidence.
- Appearing in Court to Argue Motions, Attend Status Conferences, Assist with Other Proceedings.
- Assisting with Trial Preparation, Depositions, and all other aspects of legal practice.
Education & Work Experience
- Juris Doctor Degree or LLM Required.
- Preferably at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Must have NJ Bar admission.
- NY Bar admission is a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge of New Jersey & New York Court Rules.
- Some experience in Litigation oriented practice is desired.

Monday - Friday from 930AM- 530PM
