TITLE: Parts Delivery Driver
LOCATION: Manhatta n, NY
POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Position responsible for managing the logistics customer service function, including track/trace, pickup/delivery, crisis resolution, stocking, inventory management, in-full and error-free outbound deliveries
Responsible for understanding issues/problems, identify root causes, proactively address concerns and drive solutions
Proof of Delivery inquiries; Freight claims management; Support transportation metrics management/reporting and analysis
Crisis management; Exception management
Communicate and provide support to field engineers, field services coordinators, and logistics personnel
Assist in logistics strategy development and deployment as required
Drive continuous process improvement and service delivery.
Participate on cross-functional Quality Improvement Teams
Prepares and ships orders based on appropriate specifications
Enters data, tracks, gathers information and generates standard reports
Sets up and maintains equipment; Ensures that equipment runs in accordance with operational standards
Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of related experience
Strong organizational, communications and crisis resolution skills
Strong customer focus, attention to detail, documented issue resolution and follow-up
Strong cross-functional teaming skills
Experience with Oracle ES and as a delivery driver in the Manhattan area
