Reporting to the Controller, GLCAC, Inc. is seeking an experienced Grant Manager to manage the day to day fiscal operations of the Energy Division programs as well as other state and local funded programs.
Maintaining the Accounting records of all Energy related programs, invoicing funding sources monthly for grants and contracts, monitoring program revenue and expenses, and performing a timely monthly close with adherence to GAAP.
The Grant manager must manage program staffing and budget allocations in the payroll system as well as input and monitor program budgets in the accounting system.
The Grant manager maintains an open line of communication with program management working closely to ensure adherence to Federal and State Cost standards.
The successful candidate must possess a high attention to detail, have the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively. Must be well organized, flexible and able to manage multiple, challenging projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business required with a concentration in Accounting beneficial. Minimum three years relevant work experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
Prior experience in a non-profit setting required. Prior experience with Black baud software a plus.
