JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Athletics is seeking highly motivated students with strong writing and social media skills and a familiarity with the Penn State Athletics program to work as Digital Content Interns for GoPSUsports.com , the Official Home of Penn State Athletics. Interns will contribute written features, game stories for sports (as assigned), do some video work that will be posted on GoPSUsports.com , and post on the official social channels for various Penn State varsity teams.
Familiarity with video shooting and editing is preferred, but not required. Experience using AP style is also preferred. In addition to uploading a cover letter and resume, applicants may send any writing samples to Jeff Sattora, Digital Communications Assistant at firstname.lastname@example.org . The internship is paid and may be taken for credit.
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
