TITLE: Principal Lead Auditor
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Principal Lead Auditor in Riverwoods, IL to supervise and oversee the completion of the entire audit for assigned audit staff including interviews, review of business processes, controls identification and assessment, testing of key controls, findings and development and communication with clients to develop and follow up on action plans. Use operational and technical skills to support department objectives. Schedule audit reviews where they will follow the DFS Internal Audit methodology providing strategic directions on the audit. Facilitate an understanding of the overall audit scope to entire audit team. Understand how applications and related Information Technology General Controls support achievement of business processing objectives. Provide oversight, direction and feedback to audit team. Effectively and efficiently manage a portfolio of audits and projects. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and exhibit strong partnering skills and ability to interact with various levels of management and external stakeholders. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Operations, Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related occupation: drafting reports and ensuring findings and actions are well documented in accordance with department standards; overseeing completion of entire audit; recommending changes to audit scope as necessary based on changes to the risk profile for area of responsibility; demonstrating an awareness of audit methodology by actively participating in every phase of audit including planning, fieldwork and reporting.
