Agility Orthopedics is growing! We have full time opportunities for Medical Office Staff at Agility as Medical Secretaries, Front Desk Receptionists and Phone Room/Appointment Schedulers! Knowledge of patient registration, Epic EMR, and an understanding of the referral and authorization process is helpful.
Each role here at Agility is vital to our patients and our team. In these positions you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the provider team and work collaboratively with our Agility team as a whole.
You will be responsible to greet patents and visitors both in person and on the phone in a prompt courteous and helpful manner. Check in patients, verify and updates demographics, insurance and other necessary information. Checks referral status and follows up. Collects copayments and past due balances for accounts. Schedules and maintains appointments through computerized scheduling program in person and over the phone. Answers and returns calls in a timely, courteous and helpful manner. Assists with rescheduling patient appointments. Medical Secretaries will serve as the main point of contact for a given provider’s patients and the practice. Coordinates communication between providers and patients regarding questions about care. Responsible to maintain Physician Schedules. Completes insurance and disability paperwork. Order/ coordinate outside imaging and obtain authorization as needed.
