Full Job Description
Provide support to the Software Portfolio Management task in a high paced, dynamic environment for a major DoD client. Track and manage software license utilization and renewals. Review and analyze IT requirements to identify consolidation opportunities to gain efficiencies and maximize savings in a resource-constrained environment. Identify bulk-purchasing opportunities, application and software rationalization, and coordinated license procurement, including Joint Electronic Licensing Agreements, Core Enterprise Technology Agreements, Blank Purchasing Agreements (BPA). Support Internal Use Software (IUS) compliance efforts to ensure that the organization is tracking and managing software in an audit-ready manner. Support Software Portfolio Manager to maintain and continuously improve a process to track and account for software. Leverage expertise in the development of decision briefs, information papers, and executive summaries to senior leaders.
3+ years of experience with DoD, Civilian, and Military organizations
3+ years of experience with client-facing IT consulting
Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
BA or BS degree
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 / 2013 and Microsoft Access
Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
BA or BS degree in Computer Systems, IT, or a technical field preferred
ITIL v3 / v4 Certification a plus
