Position Purpose:
Witt O'Brien's has an immediate need for a seasoned work from home / on-call Recruiter. You will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and closing billing or direct to fill positions from various sources, including internal database, social networking (especially LinkedIn) as well as online job boards.

Position Overview:
Reports to: HR Director

Position Type: On-Call and Work from Home
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Work from Home Qualifications:
Prior successful experience working from home required (NOTE: Please include with your resume an example of recent and relative experience where you have successfully worked from home)
You must be able to provide your own laptop, internet connection and phone
Must have a quiet work space at home, free of distractions, and be accessible via phone during required agreed upon work hours
2+ years demonstrated success in technical recruiting strategies (agency/vendor environment preferred)

Responsibilities and Successful Recruiter Traits:
Display the ability to use cold calling, social media, advanced Boolean searches, networking, etc. in order to find the strongest and most-qualified individuals
Have proven strategic recruiting techniques to build and maintain a talent pipeline for Disaster Relief Projects
Use Applicant Tracking System to review incoming applications, track pipeline, and re-engage prior staff for upcoming projects
Report on status of candidate flow and pipeline
Must be able to stay organized and structured to manage daily, weekly and monthly tasks as it relates to managing the candidates in your network
Show the aptitude to connect how candidates could be a fit for one of our clients, even if there is no immediate position available and provide in-depth candidate evaluations
Must be able to take a consultative approach and clearly communicate expectations and outline the procedures and processes in order to ensure a high-level of trust and creditability
Treat all candidates with the same level of service no matter if we have an opening for them or not
Responsible for reformatting and submitting quality resumes to customers
Make verbal/written job offers and assist with required onboarding
Ability to network and establish lasting working relationships
Extremely perceptive; capable of relating to individuals at all levels
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism - be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image
Truly possess a "whatever it takes" attitude to delivering top resources to our client
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and requirements; must also be adaptable to changes in processes/structure as the company continues to grow and evolve
Must be a team player and committed to the consistent success of the firm

Key Success Factors:
Occasional travel to job sites for mass hiring events
Must be available for occasional weekend work
Be able to attend job fairs and/or networking events
Attend meetings and engage with management on staffing efforts and strategies used to fill positions
Able to be flexible on working hours and work extremely well as part of a fast-moving team
Must be able to work effectively with a wide variety of hiring managers, internal clients, and candidates
Must be flexible and adaptable to change priorities on short notice

Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ApplicantPro preferred)
Prior experience contacting large pools of candidates to engage for assignments
Prior experience/formal training on behavioral based interviewing concepts
Recent experience posting on LinkedIn and Indeed
Experience with using the Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts to generate candidate leads
Prior experience in a mass hiring environment
Prior experience staffing federal contracts, skilled labor, and highly technical jobs
