Salary Range: $2,846-$4,998/Monthly

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; non-exempt position. Temporary one-year appointment, may be extended, may become permanent.

Essential Functions: Under the general supervision of the Assistant Registrar for Academic Records, the incumbent will be the primary point of contact for transcript processing working directly with a third-party vendor (Credential Solutions) to troubleshoot on-line requests for both current students and alumni, as well as make decisions regarding the transcript ordering process. The incumbent will: research student records in GET and on microfilm and microfiche – via Digital Reel – and validate that the outgoing transcript is both complete and accurate utilizing microfilm and microfiche reels to piece together incomplete or inaccurate records as necessary; assist with testing in PeopleSoft; update ROBO website as transcript batch orders are completed; work with both Credential Solutions and students to resolve outstanding issues delaying transcript processing; override transcript authorization request; train Records staff on ROBO and the on-line transcript ordering process; assist Records staff with in-person transcript orders; provide transcript and other records for subpoena requests; rebuild archived records in GET; and complete check deposits in coordination with Student Financial Services; coordinate the processing of student leave of absence requests following university policy; ensure that students returning from leave have the appropriate term activation registration appointments assigned; provide excellent customer service; resolve issues pertaining to Records using critical thinking skills; streamline processes as necessary; and provide administrative support to the Assistant Registrar for Academic Records.

Required Qualifications & Experience: Three years of full-time progressively responsible office experience. Must possess a thorough knowledge of matriculation records; in depth knowledge of GET/PeopleSoft in the areas of Student Matriculation, Records and Enrollment; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; excellent organizational and critical thinking skills; and good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple work priorities and projects and prioritize work as deemed necessary by peak service times. Willingness to collaborate with staff, students and a third-party vendor to resolve problems. Demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position.

Desired Qualifications: Experience working with Credential Solutions or ROBO software.
