Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist NLM Lead Pastor with weekly staff meeting and additional needs as requested
Manage NLM guest and volunteer pipeline in CCB
Provide support and direction for all NLM events, to include:
Water baptisms, child dedications, and special services
Potlucks and community gatherings
Volunteer appreciation events, and
Outreach events (Christmas parade, movie night, etc)
Assist with preparation for and clean up from NLM services, to include:
Being available Sunday morning to assist with staff and volunteer needs
Ensuring all needed materials are available for Sunday services
Assisting in any guest speaker needs
Transport offering weekly
Coordinate and reconcile finances
Coordinate and purchase supplies
Assist with weekly outreach at the Manitou Springs Pantry
Mantain congregational calendar
Take staff meeting notes send out calendar requests for meetings
Supervise volunteer support teams
Assist in managing communication for NLM Lead Pastor
Process incoming and outgoing emails for NLM
Manage marketing and social media presence
Ability to effectively communicate knowledge and information regarding NLM and NLC events.
Ability to handle and direct inquiries by maintaining knowledge and awareness of staff and available resources. (i.e. advertising requests, financial assistance, small groups, etc.).
Connect with fellow staff about events or happenings that would impact or require involvement from various departments and seek to resource them as needed
Demonstrate ongoing financial support of the ministries of New Life Church
City communications such as the News Paper and Chamber of Commerce
counseling referrals, financial assistance ref,
High School or GED, some college preferred
Knowledge of CCB, excellent computer skills and experience with databases and Microsoft office software.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read and carry out written and oral instructions.
Working knowledge of databases and Windows-based applications.
Good people skills, Servant’s heart, Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to verbally communicate effectively and tactfully at all levels.
Personable and helpful attitude.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and to complete assignments with little guidance.
Ability to work well under pressure.
