Patient Care Technician (Nursing Assistant) position in Critical Care Unit (Day / Evening)
The Critical Care Unit is a 55 bed unit that provides patient focused care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Quality and patient outcomes are the heat of our practice.
Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse. Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.
Ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of recent experience working as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources. Prefer one year of recent experience working in direct patient care.
Shift: Day / Evening which will consist of 3 pm -11 pm / 7 am- 3 pm and 7 am - 7 pm and 26 out of 52 weekends per year.
Salary Range: Minimum - $28,800 Midpoint - $36,000 Maximum - $43,200
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team.

Education Required High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Preferred Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant
Licensure/Certification Required None.
Licensure/Certification Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Other Required Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
