We are in search of a Traffic Technician to join our team in Girard, PA! The Traffic Technician will be responsible for installing, removal, and maintaining traffic control devices on various construction projects by following local and State D.O.T. specifications. Traffic Technicians must be constantly aware of both the construction and traffic activity taking place around them when installing devices.
Responsibilities:

Set-up signs, channelizers and trailer products for Construction Work Zones

Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear required PPE
-
Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures
-
Must be able to communicate to contractor employees, co-workers and supervisors effectively and manage equipment for job sites and required paperwork
-
Provide highest level of customer service to all customers
-
Transporting of equipment to construction sites.

Loading/unloading of trucks and trailers at various locations
-
All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements

Pass a drug test
-
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
-
Acceptable Driving record
-
Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, good work ethic

Ability to use hand tools power and manual to complete required tasks

Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.

Ability to work weekends and overtime when required/available.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Regularly exposed to all outside weather conditions; moving traffic, and uneven ground conditions when placing equipment on the roadway.

Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud
-
Regularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; entering/exiting of mobile equipment and trailers to install equipment.

Constantly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
