This position supports an intelligence community customer storage site with a staff of between 20 - 30 made up of both government employees and contractors. The site receives equipment from contractors, conducts test and inspection activities on new equipment, on equipment being prepared for issue and on equipment returned after use. Other technical staff build equipment components that support unique equipment configuration requirements.
This position works under the leadership of a more experienced logistics staff lead to account for the equipment in the facility, including accounting for equipment that is shipped out, transferred to another facility for repair, returned, and approved for disposal. For equipment inside the building and shipped for use or repair, the property team maintains location of the equipment in the digital property book. Maintains property accountability status in an automated property database and manages stocks of non-accountable and expendable equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ability to maintain accurate property records on classified and unclassified accountable property.
Ability to accomplish the accountability mission with a near perfect degree of accuracy.
Experience auditing property records and investigating/resolving missing property.
At least one year of experience is required, including specific experience to support the knowledge areas described above.
Two years customer communications experience, and one year experience supporting customer technical operations.
Experience with other facility tools, including pallet jacks, banding and packaging machines.
Associates level degree is required.
TS Clearance with current or recent access to SCI and CI polygraph is required.
