What you’ll be doing...
As the Order Manager, you will be responsible to the Service Delivery Manager for providing project and resource management in support of installing and activating core and strategic products via the VRD system. You will also be responsible for coordinating implementation activities between the customer, Verizon Sales/Internal groups, and third party client/vendor resources.
Tracking order through VRD to order completion.
Order verification with customer.
Conduct stakeholder communication (customer and Verizon).
Manage order jeopardy and escalation management.
Submit UOTM emails to customers to confirm orders.
Maintain order status in EZ-status.
Provide order tracking to customer.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Five or more years of Telecom Order Management experience.
Background dealing with large complex telecom orders.
Strong understanding of IT and Telecom as related to Order Management.
Knowledge of using OrderPro to process orders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify problems, analyze and provide solutions.
Ability to manage resource schedule on time and on budget.
Excellent abilities in coordinating across multiple organizations.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
Excellent communication skills, with both written and verbal.
Knowledge and experience in the Service Now toolset.
