Job Summary: The Sr. Manager Competitive Intelligence is the lead for competitive business intelligence of the CDW business unit. In this role, the Sr. Manager is responsible for designing, building, and testing analytic business intelligence models to infer and report on product trends, competitive activity, and subscriber performance; defining business intelligence data and dashboard requirements; managing competitive intelligence programs.The Sr. Manager shall work with and support cross functional Comcast teams from product, marketing, sales, strategy, finance and various business units within headquarters and the divisions. Additional responsibilities include the creation of executive level, clear, and accurate reporting using PowerPoint, Excel, etc for decision making. General Responsibilities: - Analyze data to identify trends of varying complexities and provide competitive insight.- Present results, recommendations, and insights to broader senior leadership team.- Determine relevancy of data and identify new alternative data sources to ensure analytics requested by business owners can be completed.- Provide recommendations on improvements to competitive business intelligence dashboards.- Work independently on multiple projects and interface with all levels and functions of an organization.- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external parties, including various third-party vendors.Core Responsibilities: - Perform competitive analysis and data exploitation to extract signals and signatures from raw data determining impacts to the HSD long-range plan.- Integrate analysis with data sources and insight from product organizations, video, home, voice, and mobile product teams.- Present, educate and disseminate formatted reports to HQ and field partners.- Collaborate with both the analytic organization and business owners to create self-service dashboards.- Perform analysis of financial statement accounts and specific projects.- Work with end user community to define new intelligence requirements and success criteria.- Lead the analysis and reconciliation of data and reporting projects.- Determine and launch with partner vendors our annual competitive data collection programs with division and HQ partners.- Demonstrate the ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.- Some travel required (25%).Job Specification: - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.- Generally requires 8-11 years related experience.- Proficient in Database-Data Warehouse | Analytics | Dashboards & Reporting.- NDW knowledge preferred.- CSG, AMDOCS knowledge preferred.- MBA preferred.
