Microsoft - Redmond, WA (30+ days ago)4.2

Do you want to work on the latest and hottest technology trends? Do you want to be part of the next leap in how we use the information from the devices around us to unleash new business and consumer scenarios? A critical component in many Internet of Things scenarios is location-awareness, and allowing our customers to leverage that will create whole new ways of doing business.

Azure IoT and Azure Maps will lead that charge, and we are looking for engineers to join us and imagine new uses and opportunities that are unlocked when Azure has a rich set of Mapping and Location Services in the cloud - aiding in scenarios that include Connected Cars, Autonomous Driving, Home Automation, Fleet Management, Autonomous Drones and more.

The Azure Maps team is a newly formed team and we are looking for highly motivated and talented engineers to design and deliver platforms and solutions that enable rapid adoption of these services. We are looking for engineers with strong problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills coupled with a drive for execution and results. One important piece will be easy-to-use, flexible and performant client SDKs using today’s common devices and standards. Together with a growing suite of Azure Maps cloud services, this will allow our customers to create first class Location Aware experiences.

You must have the desire to produce high quality software, passion/creativity to learn new complex technical areas, and agility/accountability to own features that will affect millions of users. If you see yourself in this space working with other highly motivated and talented individuals then this is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, be part of something new and influence the next generation of technology for Microsoft.
