Studio6 is a full-service content studio embedded within Havas. We produce content for Havas' clients and the agency, which includes (but is not limited to): internal communications and public facing projects, as well as pitch work. The creative capabilities include Live Action Production (stills and video), Video Editing, Animation/Motion Design, Graphics, Audio and Video finishing.
The Senior Producer will lead the Live Action team by producing or supervising the production of all live action content produced by Studio6. This role will collaborate with Studio6 leadership, Post Production Producers, the Finance Director and agency producers, as well as, provide support for the Content Creators on productions. This role will report into Studio6 leadership.
Produce all live-action shoots (both still and video), across all creative directions, budget ranges and deliverable specs. Workload will include public facing and internal projects for agency clients, potential clients (pitch work) and the agency itself.
Work with the Studio’s senior leadership on final budget approvals, as well as the Studio’s Finance Director and agency’s Producers and Business Affairs teams to get work funded, cleared and wrapped.
Write, manage and actualize shoot budgets.
Partner with Havas’ Agency Producers and account team leads, as well as Studio6 Post Producers, for required client communications including: project briefs, bidding jobs, awarding jobs, client approvals, etc.
Be a creative problem solver and able to explore unexpected ways of getting stills and videos shot in challenging situations.
Source freelance production support staff, Directors and crew.
Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors.
Manage the Studio6 Live Action administrative: expense reconciliation, onboarding of freelance shoot staff, maintenance of studio, equipment, props and wardrobe collection, general paperwork maintenance, AP follow up, etc.
5+ years in live-action production with experience as a Line Producer.
Senior level understanding of how to produce live action projects.
Working within an advertising agency on live action productions. This includes previous experience with agency producers, account managers and creative directors of all levels and their clients.
Standard production process including standard paperwork (pre-pro books, timecards, releases, expenses, insurance, etc.).
Experience writing, revising and actualizing budgets for live action productions.
Basic production accounting.
Ability to hire freelance crew and existing relationships with local vendors.
Proficiency in Budgeting (Showbiz preferred), FileMaker, Microsoft Word & Excel, Keynote, Google Drive/Calendar/Sheets, etc.
Technical understanding of a variety of cameras, lighting and grip equipment.
Management and mentorship skills- ability to receive, interpret and explain feedback to a team including juniors and others outside of this discipline.
Communication and organizational skills along with entrepreneurial mindset.
Passion for collaboration and positive attitude including desire to be a creative thinker and problem solver.
