Position Summary- Human Resources Clerk
Partner with human resources team members by assisting with the day to day functions and projects including areas such as: payroll, benefits, recruitment/retention, social media, employee relations, compensation, regulatory compliance, and support to Internal Communications. Perform additional clerical support duties such as answering phones, typing, scanning, filing, coordination of meetings and conferences, scheduling interviews, updating databases, and work on special projects as assigned. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Assist with the planning of employee engagement activities such as the United Way Campaign, Christmas party, company picnic and other TTCU company events. Duties include but are not limited to brainstorming and organizing theme ideas and activities, set-up, tear down, organization, photography and coverage before and during the events. Provide an array of communications surrounding the event such as: communication drafts, including publishing recaps via various communication channels. Manage various drawings and/or employee giveaways.
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department including but not limited to: assisting with onboarding of new employees, providing primary office and phone coverage, coordination of various mass mailings, date stamping and daily mail sorting/delivery within the department, managing supply inventory and assisting with the CUcard creation and tracking.
Assist department with ordering flowers and employee gifts as needed. Brainstorm and draft content for TTCU’s intranet, electronic magazine, communications, SharePoint and TTCUtv. Prepare short biographies of our new hires and highlight employee promotions and transfers.
Independently provide support with various special projects in all Human Resource areas as approved by the VP of Human Resources and/or the Manager of Human Resources (i.e. Payroll, Compensation, Employee Relations, Recruitment/Retention, Onboarding/Off-boarding and Communications).
Associates degree preferred
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
1 year experience in an administrative office support role preferred
1 year demonstrated ability to provide high level customer service

Intermediate level of written and verbal communication skills with a special emphasis on journalistic writing, editing, spelling, grammar and punctuation, and telephone etiquette required to effectively interface with members and employees. Professional, business-like appearance and demeanor. Ability to interact with diverse populations in a friendly, positive, outgoing manner. A high degree of flexibility and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments required.
