A Day in the Life…
This internship is focused on employee engagement, communication, and outreach related to Disney’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. You will interface with TWDC business units worldwide in supporting their CSR efforts and programs.

Projects and deliverables could include:
Develop content for and publish a monthly newsletter
Support the all processes related to our internal recognition programs
Assist in the maintenance of our internal social media platforms, including Yammer and Backlot
Help develop and maintain an internal social media strategy and editorial calendar
Support employee engagement programs and events
Support table events and other operational activities as needed
Identify and communicate streamlining and automation opportunities
Assist with developing various action plans
Provide feedback on existing programs
Help develop tools and resources that provide program enhancements
What we are looking for…
The ideal candidate would be a motivated self-starter, with strength in communication and organizational skills, and would possess a passion for corporate social responsibility.
Ability to develop and maintain a project timeline
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to exercise good judgment and use discretion
A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and proactively problem solve
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism in an environment where change is constant
Good customer service skills, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent time management skills
Demonstrates excellent people skills with proven ability to develop credibility and strong working relationships in a complex organization
Familiarity with the basic tenets of corporate social responsibility
Emphasis on marketing, PR, and/or communication
A working knowledge of Photoshop and/or similar design tools
Graphic design skills are a plus
Currently a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a closely related field.
GPA of 3.0 or higher
The approximate dates of this internship are early/mid August 2018 through early/mid January 2019
Candidate must be available to approximately 29-40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank, CA area
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must be at least 18 years of age
