About the Team
You will lead a team of Telecom Engineers that are responsible for designing, building and supporting Williams-Sonoma's voice network/infrastructure. The team's job is to ensure that every WSI location, associate and customer has the best experience possible using an array of voice applications over Williams-Sonoma's networks.

About the Role
In the Technical Lead Manager role, you will be responsible for designing/delivering telecom services and managing telecom billing. You will lead a team of engineers to deliver on telecom performance and availability solutions based on your internal customer's requirements. Under your technical leadership you will develop new integrations along with a plan to optimize existing systems. An ideal candidate will be unrelenting at implementing good design principles, solid development practices and deliverables that are secure, repeatable, and scalable.
This role reports to the Director of Data Networking, Telecom, and Security Engineering.

Guide the team's development of scalable telecom designs, solutions and standards using cutting edge technologies and leveraging expertise from other neighboring engineering groups
Lead capacity planning, monitoring and performance tuning efforts for all contact center, corporate, store and distribution center telecom system
Manage the corporate telecom budget and ensure that process/track telecom bills (voice and data)
Train and mentor telecom team members
Gather, analyze and drive project requirements for the design and implementation of advanced telecom architectures
Drive documentation of the telecom systems and ensure it is kept current
Communicate the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines to internal business and project stakeholders
Partner with a cross functional group of subject matter experts to design and execute your strategy

You have a BS or MS in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
You have a minimum of 5 + years leading telecommunication teams in large enterprise environments.
You are familiar with the principles of DevOps
You have superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
You are proficiency working in a complex, dynamic technical environment
You have knowledge of theory and principles of project management
