Inspects aircraft components for conformance to customer and engineering standards.

  • Determines methods, operations, sequences and set-ups to perform inspections
  • Inspects products for conformance to customer and engineering standards
  • Participates in related production support functions as directed by team lead/manager
  • Develops personal understanding of inspection methods, operations, sequences
  • Performs simple to mid quality control checks of mechanical components
  • Learns to set-ups repairs, overhaul documentation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical education or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred
  • No experience
  • Understanding of close tolerances, fine surface finishes required
  • Understanding of inspection methods and measurement instruments required
  • Familiarization with industry standards preferred
  • Familiarization with tech data (OEM manuals, work instructions, FAA Regulations & Policies), preferred
  • Direct knowledge of set up and performance of complex inspection and dimension analysis. preferred
