The Job:

NEID Inc. prides itself on pushing the technology “envelope” and delivering rapid, unique capabilities to customers operating in unusual and contested environments. The key to our success is largely dependent on the ability of our employees to deliver results. Use your programming and coding know-how to build and implement interfaces on embedded devices, optimize operating systems within a Software Defined Radio (SDR) framework, and maintain the current and build the next generation of SDR software systems, plus more!

You will excel in this role if you have:

  • The ability to change directions and work on the fly.

What we expect from you, i.e., your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Software Engineering, or related discipline and 4 – 8 years of experience in that field. Master’s degree with 2 – 4 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Experience developing embedded software in Linux.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) frameworks such as GNU Radio and REDHAWK.
  • Experience with cross-platform application frameworks such as Qt.
  • Experience with assembly language.
  • Knowledge of radio communication technologies, i.e., coursework, amateur radio, etc.
  • Knowledge of or past experience working within an agile environment.
  • Experience with writing government proposals.
  • Active security clearance.
