General Purpose and Scope of Position:
Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Program Manager Intern to help support our organization in a variety of IT and business focused areas. This role will shadow full-time permanent Program Managers. In this role you will gain program manager skills.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
College student majoring in Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field
Some background in business and/or IT preferred
Knowledge and/or experience of the Agricultural industry (preferred)
Intermediate level proficiency with standard software including MS Office Suite
Requires excellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employees
Good interpersonal skills
Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:
Complete the tasks and activities outlined by the Manager and/or Mentor
Conform to the normal working hours of the Wilbur-Ellis location
Support the employer, keep the employer's business confidential, and work for the employer's best interest.
Comply with company safety standards
Submit a final project, PowerPoint presentation of the internship
Shadow other Program Managers
Develop Jira Stories for current AgVerdit NewUX features
Own an AgVerdict NewUX Feature and develop plans / stories for feature (based on experience and expertise). Coordinate with AQ and SD to drive delivery of feature into AgVerdict NewUX.
Participate in Scrum sessions and Potentially act as a Scrum Master for one Scrum Team
