Medical Technologist opportunities (Loan Repayment Available) with the Captain James Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in N. Chicago

Position Information

We are seeking three (3) Medical Technologists to add to our team for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. The work performed is in a variety of laboratory disciplines, such as coagulation, flow cytometry, genetics, hematology, immunology, immunohematology (blood banking), mycology, parasitology, serology, urinalysis, and virology. Positions include (2) Medical Technologists with extensive experience with blood banking work and (1) Medical Technologist with extensive with IT documentation. These positions are located within the Clinical Support Service Pathology Lab Medicine Division at the Capt. James A. Lovell in the first-of-its-kind partnership between the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), and Department of Navy (DoN)/Department of Defense (DoD).

Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology, Medical Laboratory Science or related field (other degrees may be considered if coupled with additional Medical Technology specific experience)

Completion of Medical Technology Program
