Trinity Washington University, one of the premier learning centers in the metro D.C region, seeks a creative and energetic sales leader to join an outstanding team of enrollment development professionals. This individual will be part of the team of professionals that connect prospective students with Trinity’s dynamic programs in Business, Healthcare, Education and other professional disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful candidates will have a track record of effective engagement with external constituencies in collegiate admissions, or membership development with associations, or constituent relations or customer service. Trinity seeks team members with strong communication talents, eagerness to develop new institutional relationships among the many corporate, nonprofit and government businesses in the Washington region.
Primary responsibilities of the position include:
Build professional networks and student pipelines with corporate, nonprofit and government businesses in the Washington region;
Increase applications and enrollments in business, healthcare and education programs through innovative market outreach and sales strategies
Track and report daily/weekly/monthly recruitment and enrollment progress
Meet recruitment goals established for each semester
Characteristics of a successful candidates:
Strong and demonstrated track record of success as sales leaders in their industries
Excellent oral and written talents
Results-driven orientation, i.e. a focus on meeting recruitment goals
Ability to develop a strong network of continuous relationships with employers and organizations in the field
Willingness to work in an accountability framework
Positive team spirit
Complete commitment and engagement to Trinity’s mission and strategic goals.
Ideal candidates may have successful backgrounds in political fundraising, membership development, customer service and non-profit fundraising. Experience in collegiate admissions and marketing for adult and non-traditional programs is helpful.
A bachelor’s degree with at least three years of successful professional sales experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Must have and be willing to drive their own cars. Trinity reimburses mileage and travel expenses.
