Organizes ACO team members' duty assignments to assure overall mission accomplishment.
Performs final closeout of assigned contracts; e.g., assures delivery, inspection and acceptance of contractual end items and that all administrative and reporting actions have been resolved before recommending final closeout of the contract.
Performs required contract administration functions, such as determining eligibility and verifying evidence of contractor's progress for approval of contract financing.
Negotiates various overhead rate agreements, forward pricing rate agreements, and advance agreements; resolves disagreements between auditor and contractor involving audit determined rates.
Conducts pre and post award conferences with the contractor to provide information and clarify standards, provide special provisions, and ensure compliance with and understanding of contractual requirements.
Assures contractor compliance with 19 Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other applicable laws and regulations.
Maintains cognizance over a series of complex contracts, grants and other transactions.
Occasional travel - Business travel required 15% of the time.

BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
