Are you a channel sales professional with a proven track record of success? Do you have experience developing and implementing a reseller recruitment strategy? If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you as our Channel Sales Manager.

As Materialise and the additive manufacturing (3D Printing) industry continue to grow, we seek a sales professional with channel sales experience to develop and implement a reseller and distribution program for our Magics software and its supporting technology. Materialise Magics is a versatile, industry-leading data preparation and STL editor software for additive manufacturing (3D Printing) that allows users to convert files to STL, repair errors, edit the design and prepare the build platform.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement channel partner program for Materialise software.
  • Manage partner program which includes identifying new business opportunities, recruiting channel partners, negotiating partner agreements, and supporting partner sales.
  • Create and facilitate sales training for onboarding of new partners.
  • Track and report sales metrics, forecast monthly sales, and manage pipeline.
  • Provide overall relationship management and act as the central point of contact for channel resellers and distributors, establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively coordinate with partners to develop and execute business plans with mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Manage sales and marketing activities of partners to generate revenue.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company resources, including support, service and management, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Manage potential channel conflicts with other company sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.


  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience working with channel partners such as value-added resellers and distributors required
  • Experience developing a channel sales program preferred
  • Business-to-business sales experience required
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Additive manufacturing (3D printing) experience, a plus
  • Ability to travel 30% with some international travel required

  • Effective problem-solver with the ability to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly-expanding customer base
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to speak comfortably in front of large audiences and converse with high-profile clients
  • Ability to report and operate in a matrix organization
  • Highly organized and analytical
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing/3D printing preferred
